The 20-Node Test Mesh: Reference Architecture for Distributed Intelligence
The MeshNativeExchange 20-node test mesh is the reference compute fabric for distributed intelligence workloads. It spans four geographic regions, covers all compute roles — routing, storage, inference, and sovereign — and validates the full Vital issuance, spend, and settlement cycle at production scale.

Multi-Node Settlement Scenarios
The following scenarios illustrate how Vital issuance, spend, and settlement flow across multiple nodes in the test mesh.
Single-Region Inference
A mesh-native app routes inference requests exclusively to US-East nodes (N-01, N-02, N-03). Vital is earned by those nodes and accumulated in the enterprise billing ledger.
Multi-Region Sovereign Pipeline
A regulated EU pipeline uses only Sovereign nodes (N-10, N-14) plus EU routing. Data never crosses jurisdictional boundaries. Vital earned carries 3.2× multipliers.
Global Inference Load Balancing
A high-throughput inference platform load-balances across all four regions, dynamically routing to the lowest-latency Inference node. The full 20-node mesh is engaged.
Joining the Mesh as a Compute Node
The 20-node test mesh is the validation environment for new node operators before joining the production mesh. Nodes that pass the test mesh certification — demonstrating uptime, compute performance, and privacy compliance — earn Vital at full rates and become eligible for production traffic.
Step 1: Register
Apply as a node operator via the Developer Portal. Receive test mesh credentials and node configuration.
Step 2: Certify
Deploy your node and pass the certification suite — uptime, throughput, latency, and privacy tier compliance checks.
Step 3: Earn Vital
Once certified, your node joins the production mesh and begins earning Vital at signed rates for every compute operation it services.
